Whenever we are in schools or in the work places, we meet different kinds of friends. They may be divided into three kinds of friends, childhood friends, friends from school, and friends from work.
The first type of friends are childhood friends. You may know them since you were a kid, and you played and grew up with them together. They may know you the most. I remember when I was in the kindergarten we lived in Tainan City, and there was a extended family next to my home. Three of the children were about the same age as I, hence we always played together. Sometimes they forgot the time because they stayed and played with me, and their parents always beated them from my home out to the street. It was a very happy childhood, and I am so glad to meet them in my life. Although I move to Tainan County for many years, but I still remember them and the time we used to get together.
The second kind of friends are from school. In our schooling life, friendship is an important part. We study together or even have the same dreams. Like the following example. When I in the junior high school. I have a best friend, and we had the same dream. Both of us love English and foreign culture. We always listened English songs and watched English movies. And we had made a deal that learn English well then go abroad together when we grow up. Been graduate so many years, we have not stay in touch for a long time. But in the second day when I enter here, I saw her. It really shocked me that she also studies here, and that day we talked for a long time. She also major in English, and she said she never forgets the deal we made. Thereat, I will study harder and make our dream come true. The third type of friends are from work. When start in our career life, we often can meet different people form different places. Some of them will close to you, and we may speak ill behind or gossip our boss together. I was an assistant teacher in an English cram school. I established good relationship with some co-workers, and the most common thing we did was gossip. It was really puerility, but, be honest, it was the most delight thing during the bored working time. Today, some of them are still in that cram school, and they still repeat the same work each day. Therefore, I can sure they will continue gossip or speak ill behind our boss until they find a new job.
In our each stage of life, friends always can accompany us. Good friends can bring you a lot of happiness, but bad friends may hurt you. Thus, choosing friends carefully is a life time lesson for everyone.
